The wet electrostatic precipitator is mainly installed in wet
saturated flue gas as the final precision treatment environmental
protection equipment. Its dust removal performance is independent
of the characteristics of fuel dust, and it can effectively capture
fine particles. The outlet dust concentration can reach below
10mg/m3. It has the advantages of no secondary dust, high dust
removal efficiency, low pressure loss, no moving parts, basically
maintenance free, compact structure and small footprint. In recent
years, the effectiveness of wet electrostatic precipitators in
meeting ultra-low emissions and controlling PM2.5 has been
unanimously recognized by industry experts, and their application
fields are extending from the power industry to other non power
industries.
Wet electrostatic precipitators are used in biomass boilers as
ultra clean emission devices, and a spray washing tower must be
added in front of them. This is similar to the multi tube cyclone
dust removal required for bag dust removal. On the one hand, wet
saturated flue gas is formed by humidifying and cooling the flue
gas, ensuring the condensation and capture of fine particles such
as PM2.5. On the other hand, because the spray circulating water is
alkaline water quality of plant ash, it can further remove acidic
pollutants such as SO2 and HCI in the exhaust gas. The system
process is as follows:
The wet electrostatic precipitator applied to the treatment of
biomass boiler exhaust gas can all use stainless steel devices
without further anti-corrosion treatment. Even in the event of a
short-term spray water pump failure or high-temperature open flame
operation of the boiler, the wet electrostatic precipitator can
operate normally, greatly reducing the requirements for boiler
operators. It is very suitable for the dust removal and efficiency
improvement of biomass boilers that cannot use bag dust removal,
such as wood chips, bamboo chips, sugarcane bagasse, etc.
Practice has proven that the operating conditions and fuel
characteristics of different biomass boilers vary greatly, and
simply using bag filters cannot meet the increasingly strict
environmental emission requirements of the country. Especially due
to unsuitable working conditions, many biomass small boilers in the
furniture industry frequently experience bag burning and breakage,
causing unbearable maintenance costs for users. As an advanced flue
gas treatment technology, wet electrostatic precipitator has a
simple structure, basic maintenance free, low operating cost,
strong ability to remove fine smoke and dust, and can also achieve
the removal of multiple pollutants. Especially suitable for smoke
and dust control of special biomass boilers such as wood chips,
bamboo chips, sugarcane bagasse, etc., it has incomparable
advantages in reliability and dust removal efficiency,
